The ultimate
these days is to have your movies in DivX format. It saves a lot of space
while still having a high quality movie.
If by
anyhow you want to convert a DivX movie back to DVD, here are the steps:
(With this
program you can also add more than one file to create a DVD, for e.g. you
have 4 episodes of a TV series, and you want to combine them together into
one DVD)

1. |
In the “DVD Label” text box, type in the name of your movie (Marked as “1”).

2. |
From “DVD Format”, select NTSC or PAL (Marked as “2”), depending on your TV,
is it NTSC or PAL.

On the right side of the window, 16:9 is used in widescreen TV’s and 4:3
your normal TV. You can use either one; just remember to set your DVD
player (for your TV) to 4:3 or 16:9, depending on the one that you have
chosen.

Leave the “Working Directory” as it is. (Marked
as “3”) (It is only a temporary directory which
the program uses.)

Click NEXT.

6. |
Click on ADD CHAPTERS (Marked as “4”) and
select your DivX movie file (or files) and click
on OPEN.
|

7. |
Your DivX movie will now be added (Marked as
“5”). It can take a few seconds to add, just
wait for it.

8. |
Now you can change the size of the outcome files
by dragging the slide bar (Marked as “6”) left
or right. Look at the Estimated size (Marked as
“7”). If you are going to use a DVD5 disc to
copy the movie onto, then see that the size does
not exceed 4300MB. If you are going to use a
DVD9 disc, see that the size does not exceed
8500MB.

Click NEXT. |

If you do not want a menu, click here (Marked as
”8”), and choose DVD WITHOUT MENU. Then
click NEXT. Your movie will now be
converted to DVD.

Here is the Title Settings (Marked as “9”).
Here you can change the color, font size, font
and the position of your title. Play around
here until you are satisfied.

You can change the background of your menu here
(Marked as “10”). You can use any image that
you like as a background, e.g. the DVD cover
that you have downloaded from
Movie DVD Covers.

Click on the CHAPTER’S TITLE tab (Marked
as “11”).

Select one of the file names (Marked as “12”),
then you can rename it here (Marked as “13”), if
you want to. You will see on the right-hand
side of the window, a preview of your menu. You
can click on the preview to view the menu
larger.

15. |
Click on the CHAPTER’S SETTINGS tab
(Marked as “14”).

16. |
Here (Marked as “15”), you can change the font,
color, font size, the position etc. of your
chapter’s titles. See on the right-hand side
how it changes.

17. |
When you are finished with all your settings,
click NEXT (Marked as “16”).
|

18. |
Here (Marked as “17”) you can choose to burn
your files to DVD disc, or Save the project as
ISO image file, or save it as your normal VOB
files. Your DVD menu will now be integrated
into the DVD files, just burn it to a blank
disc, and your menu will work. |
